OVERVIEW

Daley Strategies, a Los Angeles-based government affairs and public relations firm, is seeking a talented Account Coordinator to join our growing team of experienced and innovative practitioners.

This entry-level team member will support Daley Strategies staff in delivering comprehensive strategic and government engagement programs that lift communities and advance the region.

Daley Strategies’ senior public affairs team engages some of the nation’s leading companies, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. Key focus areas include the housing and homelessness, technology, infrastructure, transportation, and real estate sectors, among others. Daley Strategies brings passion and excitement to solving some of California’s most challenging issues on behalf of the clients we serve.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, or related field
  • Previous internship or work experience in public affairs, politics or political campaigns, community engagement, or media relations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in multi-faceted, fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Strong research, writing, editing, and listening skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as part of a team, the Account Coordinator will support the Daley Strategies staff in executing a wide range of strategic engagement activities. Specific duties could include:

  • Coordinate and schedule high priority meetings for the Daley Strategies team and clients
  • Support the team in creating advocacy networks to influence public policy
  • Provide limited executive support to the Founder and CEO
  • Contribute to social and digital media operations
  • Engage and mobilize business, advocacy and community organizations through direct interactions and networking
  • Help build meaningful relationships with stakeholder organizations throughout California and position clients as trusted resources and partners
  • Represent clients and/or the firm at events and meetings
  • Conduct research on client-related issues and prepare summary memos
  • Track legislative issues across multiple governmental jurisdictions and communicate possible implications to the internal client team and clients.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay
