The Area Revenue Analyst assists the General Manager and hotel leadership in the identification and maximization of all potential revenue opportunities for 2 or more assigned hotels.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; College degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products with a prerequisite in Excel formulating and reporting preferred.
- Capable of creating word documents working charts and spreadsheets to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.
- Use critical thinking skills to investigate changes in demand pace production and channel/source contribution to anticipate a response and ensure communication of critical information.
- Excellent presentation written and verbal communication to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Strong organizational management and ability of handling multiple responsibilities at any given time
- Approach all encounters with owners guests and associates in a friendly objective and service-oriented manner.
- Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage professional safe and efficient operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete applicable training in respective hospitality systems and processes.
- Prepare and analyze daily demand reports (PSA Daily Detail etc) as well as reports for weekly revenue strategy meetings as necessary. Analyze reports for future strategy opportunities.
- Complete Group Displacements when needed.
- Adjust any rate and inventory controls that need to be modified and communicate to the strategy teams.
- Assist with in implementation of annual strategic pricing including rate loading.
- Schedule and analyze market pricing reports to determine pricing opportunities and competitive set compression.
- Develop understanding of TravelClick 360 reports for trends booking windows and sources of business as well as rates compared to competition.
- Work to communicate sales strategy for day week month and rolling 12 months; share any strategic changes to appropriate audiences.
- Analyze prior night successes: Did the hotel sell out? Were the right decisions made for overselling?
- Place test calls to Central Reservation Office (CRO) and property to ensure accuracy of rate quoting restrictions and selling approach.
- Monitor hotel website OTA’s and GDS channels for accuracy of rate quoting restrictions and selling approach.
- Work with the strategy team to project future transient demand and analyze actual performance vs. potential to identify future revenue opportunities.
- Attend meetings/trainings and/or perform other duties as requested by management.
