Overview

The Regional Sales Manager – TX is a sales leadership position. The Regional Sales Manager – TX will be responsible for recruiting, developing, coaching and leading a team of sales consultants. The candidate will have a proven track record of leadership abilities as well as direct solar sales experience to manage all aspects of the team and book of business.

The candidate will work closely with sales leadership to build and develop a regional sales team. This a ground floor leadership opportunity, and with that, will require an entrepreneurial minded professional who is eager to build and scale with the company.

Responsibilities

  • This leadership position’s primary responsibility is to manage, motivate, and mentor a team of sales consultants to move opportunities through the sales process and close sales.
  • Ensure that sales consultants are working effectively with their tools and platforms to maximize close rates, as well as managing their individual pipeline to meet or exceed individual goals and quotas.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings to ensure team goals are being met, team training is being utilized, and team culture is improving week over week.
  • Schedule bi-weekly one on ones to ensure that consultants are improving with technical skills, work life balance is being achieved, and individual production goals/quotas are reviewed.
  • Work with sales leadership to analyze both team pipeline as well as campaign pipeline to ensure and maintain highly accurate monthly forecasting as well as campaign adjustments.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to improve and evolve current tools, platforms, and process flow to achieve higher efficiency and production within the organization.
  • Ensure that all team members maintain a positive, professional, and problem solving mindset throughout their communications with customers and team members.
  • Maintain a direct sales responsibility until the team is fully established.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced team environment
  • Assist solar consultants in closing business during in home consultations needed.
  • Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of solar market conditions, rebate and tax incentives, and electric utility rate schedules.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of combined solar sales and management experience on the residential side. Management experience is required. Drive Energy prides ourselves in the development of top performing consultants into effective management leaders.
  • The right candidate will be willing and able to recruit and assemble area sales teams in Texas. This responsibility will include assisting in finding, interviewing and hiring area sales managers and area canvassing managers within the region. This responsibility will also include assisting in interviewing and hiring of new direct sales reps.
  • The right candidate will be willing and able to train and support existing area managers and sales reps within the region.
  • The right candidate will be a willing mentor for area managers as well as all reps and support staff within the region.
  • Must have a professional, positive, and problem solving mentality that is delivered to the organization and team members on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual sales for the team and campaign.
  • Motivated by career advancement, high-income potential, and making a positive impact in their community.
  • Has a proven ability to transfer sales skills and knowledge to sales professionals under their direct management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $350,000.00 per year
