The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of accounting transactions while maintaining accurate and complete records. The Bookkeeper, under the direction of the Accounting Supervisor, will be primarily responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and human resources.

General responsibility

  • A/P – Process invoices and check/credit card payments on a regular basis, data entry and vendor support associated with accounts payable.
  • A/R – Create invoices and receive check/credit card payments, reconcile short paid items and process customer returns and follow up on past due invoices.
  • Human Resources – Onboard new employees, as well as provide employee assistance related to time, vacation and sick days.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
  • 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to execute and follow-through on multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in SAGE 300 a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
