We are a bio-tech startup, focused on a novel photoimmunotherapy device that is on the bleeding edge of innovative medicine. We intend to creatively destroy traditional cancer therapies with our groundbreaking work.

Cancer Immunologist:

Responsibilities:
Accurately record, analyze, and communicate data to senior staff and team members.
Utilize a variety of analytical techniques and equipment to both validate therapeutic targets/approaches and generate new biological insights.
Conduct in vitro studies utilizing primary cells and cell lines to probe targets of interest and validate potential therapeutic tools.
Conduct in vivo studies on mouse models of cancer to validate efficacy of tools/reagents, and assess biological or disease relevance of potential therapeutic targets.
Work with internal and external partners to test, optimize and advance new therapies into early development.
Deliver presentations/results to both small and large, internal and external groups.
Support and manage external collaborations, including academic laboratories and CROs.Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Immunology or biochemistry or biomedical engineering with a strong background in immunology, plus minimum 3 years of relevant research experience (Industry experiences are preferred)

Deep understanding of human immunobiology, such as T cells, Treg cells, NK cells, or Myeloid cells and cytokine signaling. Understanding of stimulator of interferon genes (STING) pathway agonists and antagonists, and of ENPP1 inhibition is highly preferred.

Experience designing and performing in vitro assays using primary human immune cells or immune/cancer cells.
Skilled in standard immunological, molecular and cell biology techniques including flow cytometry, ELISAs, and primary immune cell isolation and cell culture.
Demonstrated ability to organize and communicate complex data sets in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent organizational, time-management, verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in biopharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
Prior experience with immuno-oncology drug discovery, especially biologics, is strongly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 – $86,000.00 per year
