The CargoWise Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting initiatives for continuous system and application improvement within CargoWise. This person will take ownership of the development and deployment of all CargoWise projects, communicate on progress, and meet deadlines as decided by the company. As this is a key position within our company, this person will also be responsible for the continued support and improvement of our CargoWise operating platform.


  • Assist with Registry configurations and general CargoWise setup to support new business processes as well as updated CargoWise functionality.
  • Analyze system performance as the company grows and identify opportunities and solutions.
  • Configure and set up new locations as well as permissions management and user account activation/de-activation.
  • Monitor, support and track incoming support tickets and work cross functionally with Compliance, Quality and Training to determine the root cause of the tickets including any printing issues within the system.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot communication flows involving EDIs integrations in conjunction with Sales Support Team, email distributions and ACE/EBI transmissions
  • Help translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable controls within CargoWise One, aligning system capabilities and design with regulatory requirements and operational procedures.
  • Partner with leadership to develop project plans for assigned projects while ensuring stakeholder views are managed toward the best solution.
  • Analyze project data and risk, report findings, and propose solutions.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for all projects and procedures.
  • Work on multiple project simultaneously, meeting deadlines while also managing competing and changing priorities.
  • Administration of other applications that integrate with CargoWise including Atlas,, EcoTransIT and more.
  • Assist with the development and tracking of ROI for CargoWise related customizations and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or related field, graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ experience working with CargoWise.
  • CargoWise certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment.


The position is in an indoor, office environment, requires the ability to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors verbally and in writing, sit for periods of time, operate typical office equipment which requires seeing and the use of a keyboard. Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
