CIB – US Treasury Trading – Vice President

JP Morgan’s US Treasury desk is part of one of the top Interest Rates Trading businesses on Wall Street, and we are currently looking for a candidate with at least 4 years of trading experience in US Government bonds at a major broker dealer to join our team. Candidates must demonstrate a firm understanding of marco-economics, Federal Reserve policy and its impact on the US Treasury market, as well as an expertize is US Government bond trading. Exceptional team work and communication are a must for any candidate, as this is a key part of our firm’s culture and the how our business succeeds. Performance goals are high, so candidates must be willing to work very hard every day, and take critical feedback in order to improve and help the business succeed. Technical skills for coding are a plus but not required. Candidates must have Series 7 & 63 Registrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math or a related quantitative field
  • A minimum of 4 years of trading experience in US Treasuries at a major broker-dealer
  • Someone who thrives on the challenge of competitive pressures
  • Exceptional team player
  • Strong inter-personal skills to successfully engage clients and sales people
  • Maturity to understand this is a demanding career and expectations are hig
