In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.

  • Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.


Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.

We are looking for an
Outpatient Clinical Dietitian/Nutritionist II to make a difference for our patients at MSK.

The Department of Food and Nutrition Services provides excellent food, enhanced nutrition care, and excellent hospitality to those we serve through innovation, technology and a dedicated staff with clinical and culinary expertise.

You Will:

  • Cover ambulatory nutrition services at our Westchester Regional Site
  • Provide comprehensive nutrition care to a variety of oncology patients.
  • Conduct patient nutrition visits in-person or via telephone or telehealth.
  • Assess nutrition needs, develop, implement/re-evaluate care plans for patients.
  • Educate patients and caregivers and communicates patient issues to the healthcare team.
  • Assist in the coordination of patients on home tube feedings.
  • Serve as a nutrition expert on the healthcare team and provide training to nurses and physicians as needed.
  • Participate in performance improvement, research and program development activities.
  • Document clinical assessments appropriately and maintains accurate, complete records.
  • Make a continuous effort to improve job performance and to develop work-related skills and expertise

You Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of oncology experience, with at least one year in oncology nutrition
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist, New York State Education Department, within 12 months of hire.
  • Advanced level certification preferred: Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO), Commission on Dietetic Registration
