JOB SUMMARY:

Serves as Cardiac Cath Lab Educator. Maintain records to ensure compliance with orientation plan and acts as coordinator for nurses and cardiovascular techs that are on orientation, prepare schedules, orient students, communicate with Directors and Educators; solicit, collect and submit written evaluations of orientees rotations and collaborates with management team for setting policies and procedures. Coordinates performance improvement activities. Implements Cardiac Catheter Lab orientation program. Actively participates in patient satisfaction initiatives.

EDUCATION:

  • Minimum bachelor s degree
  • Masters preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certification required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
