Data Analytics Program Director/Marketing Recruiter

Touro University Graduate School of Technology is seeking a full-time administrator/faculty to recruit students to Touro GST’s new MS in Data Analytics program and to grow quality enrollment. This position includes potential student outreach, processing acceptances, admissions, and facilitating immigration issues. The position requires an understanding of Data Analytics from both a technology/database perspective and a business perspective.

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing recruitment activities and monitoring/encouraging potential students. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Market MSDA graduate program for both the technology/database and business concentrations through staging of special open houses, participating in career fairs, responding to inquiries, and consulting with prospective applicants
  • Proactively calling, emailing, and texting potential students
  • Responding to prospective student inquiries through email, chat, texting, WhatsApp, and telephone
  • Tracking all inquiries through a CRM system and reporting weekly on recruiting progress to the Dean
  • Serving on the committee to determine how to best utilize the CRM system
  • Evaluating competitive programs to improve efforts in recruiting students
  • Participating in overall GST marketing efforts including weekly marketing committee meetings
  • Guiding students through the admissions process
  • Reviewing application materials, collecting financial records, transcripts, and all other required materials which are then submitted to the Admissions, Financial Aid, and International Student Support offices as appropriate
  • Presenting the program at Information Sessions/Open Houses
  • Making to the Program Chair Dean and Admissions Office
  • When appropriate, guiding students through the immigration process with the assistance of the International Students Director
  • Recommending to the designated school officials in the International Student Support office the issuing of I-20 status
  • Delegating tasks to and supervising graduate students who work for GST
  • Assisting the academic leadership team in developing new programs by assessing who the competition is and what the competition is offering that we do not have
  • Speaking to students who enrolled and those who decided not to attend to determine what marketing campaigns and approaches are effective what is lacking in the program and how the program should be modified or what new programs should be developed
  • Maintaining a close working relationship both within GST and with GSB.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales preferred

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Knowledge of academic recruiting preferred
  • Understanding Data Analytics from both a technology/database perspective and a business perspective
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Knowledge of CRM record keeping and database functions
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities

Travel

  • Occasional travel to educational and career fairs in NY metro area

Physical Demands

  • Able to transport career fair materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
