Compass Recovery is a detox and residential substance abuse treatment center. We are looking for direct care staff in the clinical services department. They are responsible for shift-to-shift direct and practical supervision of the client and his/her needs during detox and residential level of care. We train and we are open to interns in the field.

Job Duties:

1. Work 1:1 and in a residential home with clients toward their goals

2. Admissions and Discharges

3. Facilitate groups once trained

4. Detox duties of vitals, CIWAS, COWS, Observations and Urine Drug Screen collections.

5. Monitoring medication times.

6. Medication counts as needed

7. Communication with full clinical and support staff

8. Cooking

9. Basic Crisis Intervention

10. Documentation of groups and clinical services

11. Light Office Duties

12. Driving to appointments and Meetings

13. Cleaning

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cypress, CA 90630: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• substance use disorder: 1 year (Preferred)
• Detox: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• license or registered in the healthcare field (Preferred)
• Driver’s License (Preferred)
