Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Activity or Recreation Instructor / Developmental Disabilities Specialist / Adult Day Program

$20 an hour with benefits / Training provided by CEL / Prior experience not required

QUALIFICATIONS

· 21 years or older

· Valid driver’s license

· Completes CEL provided Pace driver certification and job training

· Pass a pre-employment and subsequent random drug test

· Pass a pre-employment and subsequent annual background check

REACH maximizes opportunities for self-advocacy, enrichment, friendship, fun, civic engagement, personal growth, learning, new experiences, recreation & much more for adults 22 and older with developmental disabilities. You will plan and lead activities at CEL and in the community, assist with member supports (mobility, eating, bathroom), model positive social/community relationships, and safely transport members on CEL Vehicles to activities in the community.

At CEL, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are part of a vibrant community with opportunities for life enrichment through social, recreational, educational, employment, and virtual programs.

Common areas are sanitized throughout the day; schedules and time in office space are staggered to limit occupancy.

• Riverwoods, IL 60015: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
