We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Account Executive to build and expand our VMware Modern Load Balancing solution to our customer base in the Americas. You must thrive on working as a team with a group of Solution Engineers, Product Management, and Core Sales Teams to drive ADC and Load Balancing projects across the Americas. It is also critically important to have a drive for fluency in the modern cloud world with comprehension around the large three cloud providers as well as the transformation that is taking place with applications and containers.


Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the Network and Security Specialists in selling Avi in the Americas market

  • Demonstrate subject area expertise in Load Balancing, Multi-Cloud, Containers, and Applications

  • Drive a consistent strategy across the Americas to build pipeline, land new logos, and grow the install base

  • Help enable Network and Security Specialists to leverage key tools such as Avi-DICE, Propensity, Bullseye, etc

  • Demonstrate capability to help our sales teams drive opportunities and to keep up momentum with key sales plays and wins

  • Responsibility to find and qualify opportunities that move through the entire sales cycle

  • Match the solution to the customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements


Experience Required:

  • 3+ years sales related experience in the Federal space in Hardware and/or Software based Application Deliver Controllers (ex. F5, NetScaler, NGINX)

  • Direct experience with Networking Solutions in large Globals and Enterprise

  • Developing and building out a territory and driving new logo acquisitions

  • Proven experience in selling complex solutions including software and services

  • Knowledge and experience of subscription and SaaS sales models

  • Success working in a cross functional/matrixed sales organization

  • Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive, fast paced, and high growth environment

  • Experience selling in both a direct and an indirect or channel driven model

  • Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment

  • Ability to pass DoD secret background check
