Asset Management Equity Middle Office – Associate The Equity Middle Office group partners with the Equity portfolio management team, investment specialists, software engineers and technology support, and core operations teams to manage the front-to-back operational ecosystem within Equity. We maintain a central point of contact to the Front Office for cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution, oversee the broader Operations team in support of Equity business, provide extended operational support for complex client relationships, and drive project delivery to eliminate low-value tasks and create scale. Our goal is to provide best-in-class operational risk management and client service, and deliver operational efficiency and controls to our business.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the data environment of Front Office systems to ensure data integrity, in partnership with team members across the globe
  • Partner with the Front Office, Operations, and Technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
  • Provide business requirements for system enhancements, including both small- and large-scale system upgrades and technology migrations
  • Prepare for upcoming audits and regulatory exams by partnering with operational risk and control team to ensure all processes are documented and proper controls are in place
  • Collect and analyze data, interpret results, and make recommendations
  • Support our culture of continuous improvement by defining, documenting, and streamlining operational processes through the use of intelligent automation tools
  • Partner with our client advisors to address client queries, establish stronger relationships and create an overall better client experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Swiftly absorb a new environment, understand the Equity business requirements, the various global operating models
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience-Asset Management preferred
  • Innovative thinker focused on creative solutions to business problems in a control- and regulatory-driven ecosystem
  • Adaptable to fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to propose fact-based recommendations at the appropriate level of detail for a target audience
  • Ability to influence people, lead discussions, and communicate effectively across all levels within the organization
  • Experience with Microsoft products and Intelligent Automation tools – Alteryx, Signavio, Xceptor
  • Team player; a collaborative approach to problem-solving
