Job Summary

The Insurance & Retirement Services Operations team supports the day-to-day processing of applications for our 529 & Annuities products, while also serving as a PMO team to deliver the
Transformation agenda for not only 529 and Annuities but also our Life Insurance and Institutional Retirement products as well.

In this role, you will be a
Program Manager, responsible to drive the
transformation of our products’ platforms and processes in close partnership with our Product & Technology teams. You will be managing our Project Management Office with senior project managers and their teams to support each of your products within your remit.

We’ll be relying on your seasoned expertise in delivering innovation and uplifting the experiences of our clients and Advisors. Your role will require the ability to deal with complex business challenges, competing priorities and interaction with the senior management team.

A candidate who understands the holistic client and advisor journey, our role as the Operations function and the responsibilities we have to their experience would be an ideal candidate.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage a team of project managers to deliver enhancements and product launches across a portfolio of complex products consisting of 529, Life Insurance, Annuities & Institutional Retirement that span multiple lines of business.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from Product, the Business, Technology, our internal Operations team, Legal, Compliance and more to execute against roadmaps.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues by communicating across leadership
  • Participate in capacity planning, developing strategy, refining governance structures, budget, metrics and resource allocation for the program teams
  • Provide leadership to the PMO team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, KPI’s, OKR’s.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years of management-experience leading a team of project managers
  • Strong organizational and program management skills, product management, or middle office management in the financial industry experience
  • Ability to manage across a complex set of requirements with multiple stakeholders
  • Product knowledge of 529, Annuities, Life Insurance and/or Institutional Retirement is preferred
  • Strong background and proven ability to transform Operations businesses across multiple business areas
  • Vocal in challenging business-as-usual operating models and recommending innovative improvements
  • Proven track record of delivering large scale and complex programs and projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to move initiatives forward in a cross-functional and matrixed organization
  • Strong team player with ability to work with teams at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and influence colleagues, business leaders, and functional partners
  • Excellent analytical skills, communications and presentation skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to provide clear and succinct verbal and written updates for all levels of the organization
  • Excellent judgement and independent decision-making ability
