We are looking for a nurse practitioner to add to our primary care practice in a full time capacity.

Job responsibilities include:
– Taking patient histories and performing physical examinations.
– Interprets laboratory and test results.
– Documents the patient note along with the assessment and plan.
– Write orders for medications, laboratory work, screening tests, and diagnostic tests.
– Performs telehealth and phone calls with patients to discuss test results (at the instruction of the physician)
– All patients will be seen by the attending physician as well.

If you have any of these additional skills, then a higher salary can be negotiated.
– Perform venous phlebotomy for patients.
– Administer vaccinations for patients.
– Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous medications for patients.
– Performance of Pap Smears and the clinical breast examination for Women’s Health management.

Job Qualifications
– Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory (most of our patients are Chinese speaking individuals who reside in the local Flushing community)
– Current registration as a Professional Nurse in New York and Registration as Nurse Practitioner in New York
– Master’s Degree in Nursing
– Registered Nurse License – NYS, Nurse Practitioner License – NYS
– Current Basic Life Support certification.

– EMR System experience

– Number of years of working experience is negotiable and not a deciding factor.

Salary Range (will depend on skills of the candidate and number of years of experience)
$120,000 – $180,000 per year

No night call duties
No after work duties (other than finishing charting, if necessary)
One location only in Flushing, NY located on Main Street
You will have your own workstation.
