Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will be playing a key role in delivering on the organization’s finance evolution and multiple projects. They will need to collaborate with the executive management team to analyze department finances, deliver on process changes and develop budgets that will keep the company on an upward growth trajectory, while eliminating extraneous costs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company

· Use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios and present conclusions

· Manage a variety of Business projects with Finance cost savings through to completion

· Assist in the day-to-day Organization finance administration activities

· Ensure monthly reports and variances are prepared

· Be the Finance coordinator for ERP and Business projects

· Collaborate with management on development and execution of financial reporting to drive performance and cost management

· Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles

  • Assist in any customer and external audits
  • Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations

Controls Framework

  • Ensure strong internal controls are being maintained
  • Ensure adherence of processes to company’s policies and procedures; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.
  • Maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting

Education & Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of related accounting experience; previous supervisory/leadership experience highly preferred.
  • Proficient with ERP systems, Portals and MS Excel/PowerPoint required.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with ability to lateral problem solve issues
  • Must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable State, County, and Local municipal requirements
