Job Description

As the first impression of the restaurant, a host is to be welcoming and accommodating. The position requires the ability to multi-task, and problem-solving skills are essential. The host will greet guests, distribute menus, manage the phones, and oversee the reservation system.

  • Provide quality, and genuine, hospitality in a timely manner
  • Greeting parties as they arrive with a welcoming and accommodating attitude
  • Distribute menus to guests as they are seated
  • Be responsive to phone calls
  • Manage seating and reservations to ensure guests get the best experience
  • Acknowledge guests when they arrive and leave
  • Communicating effectively with both guests and team members
  • Perform opening & closing duties
  • Keeping the lobby area clean & organized at all times

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and work at a quick pace.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Knowledge of OpenTable.
