Job Responsibilities

• Helps plan and implement age appropriate daily curriculum for children in the classroom
• Oversees and coordinates the children’s personal care, hygiene, learning activities, specialized programs, and positive guidance
• Maintains classroom records and developmental checklists for each child in their care
• Ensures that the classroom and other play areas are consistently clean and safe
• Informs parents of their children’s progress on a daily basis

• Keeps director informed on a timely manner of pertinent issues regarding staff, children, families, and the program

Required Education, Skills, and Work Experience

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• CDA Preferable but not required
• 2+ years of child care experience preferred but not required
• A willingness to conform to school policies and state standards
• An interest in fostering a growth mindset in young children
• Excellent communication skills and a warm and friendly personality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24,000.00 – $30,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
