Position Summary

The Inspection Coordinator has the important responsibility of supporting inspections for the Better Earth solar installation team. The Inspection Coordinator keeps the installation process moving smoothly and efficiently by ensuring all pre-inspection aspects meet policy requirements. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is interested in entering the Solar Industry, and is ready to help the most important part of the company: Field Operations!


  • Communicate with inspectors to ensure efficient installation
  • Solve issues that may arise regarding code and installs.
  • Set up and tie off ladders for the city/county inspectors
  • Help county/city inspectors with accessibility problems
  • Coordinate and perform pre-inspection and on-site problem solving to ensure compliance with policy


  • Strong oral and written communication skills with multiple parties utilizing technology
  • Strong analytical, creative, problem solving, and interpersonal/human relations skills
  • Comfortable being and working on roofs
  • Work well with others that are on your work team
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Comfort with using technology (computer, phone, email, etc.)

Full Time $20/hour
