We are seeking self-motivated, safe, positive, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented individuals for an immediate opening as a Manufacturing Assembler.

Our client is a world-renowned, single-source provider of production and automated assembly systems for the aerospace and defense industry.

They produce a full suite of both mold and assembly tooling required for the aerospace manufacturing market, including the largest Invar molds ever made— making them the largest tooling group in the industry.

Salary: $19-$25hr depending on relevant industry experience.

A Day In The Life of a Manufacturing Assembler

The Manufacturing Assembler will be responsible for locating, fitting, and assembling manufactured and supplied parts in accordance with customer blueprints and specifications.

Essential Job Functions For The Manufacturing Assembler In Irvine, CA:

  • Review blueprint details and assemblies.
  • Check all details, assemblies, and finished products for conformance to blueprint dimensions and identification.
  • Visually install details, assemblies, and hardware. (keenserts, bushings, thermocouples, and etc.).
  • Identify molds and tools per customer blueprint, tool and purchase order requirements using tags, engraving machines, stencils & painting.
  • Plumb vacuum systems. Verify integrity through pressure testing and leak checking.
  • Drill clearance holes, Drill & tap holes.
  • Participate and take responsibility for 6S.
  • Communicate with leads and supervisors.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Required Skills, Education & Experience

  • 2 years min experience in assemble work in different fields or equivalent desirable.
  • Accredited journeyman background preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Blue print interpretation and GD&T (fractions, decimals & tolerancing).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing practices including welding, machining, and fastening.
  • Ability to use manual inspection equipment i.e. Micrometers, Calipers etc.
  • Basic Knowledge of the Metric System.
  • Forklift and crane operating skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $25.35 per hour
