RedPeg Marketing, an experiential marketing agency, is seeking a New York City Manager
Salary Range: $1,400 – $1,475 (depending on experience)/Weekly, (bonus opportunity available), plus $125/month car allowance.

Timeline: 3 months contract with preferability of start date May 17

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Represent a spirit brand in NYC, focusing on developing and building the Brand, in select accounts in the assigned areas

· Serve as the lead for all program activations. Be the face to the spirit brand throughout the program

· Build and enhance brand relationships with key accounts

· Drive and control the relationship of select target accounts (Decision Makers, Bartenders, Wait Staff)

· Increase bartender affinity & recommendation of the brand through training & account support

· Establish bartender advocacy & adoption through on-going brand engagement efforts

· Cement brand roots within mixology & the bartender community to enforce positive trade perception of the brand

· Management and execution for mainly ON, but also OFF premise events

· Interact/engage with and educate consumers on brand messaging while executing in both ON/OFF premise and special event settings

· Management of BA’s during program activations, where required

· Recap events daily and provide weekly recaps through online portal, while continually reporting general activity in the market, great quality photo taking, maintain KPI’s, etc.

· Works directly with market manager, Distributors and Event POCs in the lead up and during activations for event details/logistics, product volume, etc.

Required Skills:

  • At least 21 years of age A MUST
  • Strong knowledge of the nightlife and industry and lengthy/solid experience working in Beer/Wine/Spirit industry

Previous employment with a beer or spirit distributor is a plus. Overall understanding of beer/spirit industry rules and regulations

  • Minimum 2 years professional business experience in sales and marketing in the BWS industry
  • Knowledge of on-premise market sector
  • Outgoing personality, self-motivated, and responsible
  • Excellent organization, time management, and skilled at building professional relationships
  • Ability to interact with staff and consumers in a restaurant, bar, and retail outlet atmosphere
  • Strong communication skills (writing and verbal)
  • MUST BE available to work for the entire program without scheduling conflicts. Possible contract extension upon program success.
  • Need to be flexible on program flow and event days
