The Early Careers Recruitment Manager role at Aon blends organization with innovation and a fast-paced environment that offers continual opportunities for learning and career development of the Early Careers Team. The role is integral to carrying out the Early Careers Recruiting strategy and will focus primarily on managing a team of about 10 dedicated to bringing on new hires through three of our Early Careers Programs: US Summer Internship Program, the Launch Program (designed for new/recent graduates), and our Apprenticeship Program.

Aon is looking for a North America Early Careers Leader

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective recruiting solutions supporting business lines across the firm through our Campus Recruiting hiring efforts. As the North America Early Careers Leader, you will report directly to the Canadian Talent Acquisition Leader and lead a team of campus recruiters and coordinators.

We are looking for someone who will be able to:

Create and implement the strategic management of Aon’s three pillars of entry level talent: Apprenticeship, Summer Internship and Launch (Recent Graduate) programs

Lead recruiters and coordinators who are responsible for recruiting 100+ apprentices, 300+ interns and 300+ full time recent graduates annually for offices across North America

Assess recruiter capacity, team bandwidth, reporting metrics, analyze trends and manage budget

Collaborate with HR Business Partners on talent demands and forecasting and strategically plan events and target schools to meet these needs

Drive Early Careers diversity strategy by promoting increased campus presence at diverse colleges and universities, early identification days at local offices and identifying ways to mitigate and manage unconscious bias

Proactively establish relationships with key non profits, professional affiliations and student groups to increase the diversity of the talent pipeline

Serve as a trusted adviser to internal business partners, HR and Talent Leads on core campuses recruiting targets and strategy on diversity efforts unique to their respective groups

Manage colleague referral process by ensuring qualified referrals are considered for open roles as well as candidates sourced from other avenues

Partner with Employer Brand Manager to further Aon’s brand on campus

Partner with counterparts in the UK to ensure global efficiency and effectiveness

Maintain an active recruiting bench and assist as needed when team capacity is high

Required Experience and Skills:

7+ years minimum in recruiting, preferably in professional services firm

5+ years of in Early Careers

3+ years managing a team, coaching and mentoring

Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners

Complete strategies and drive efficiencies

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience
