Role of Content Team:
The PubW Content Team is responsible for collaborating with PubW strategy, digital investment, and analytics teams as well as Walmart’s content practice. We work across a large variety of partners, agencies, and disciplines (livestream, affiliate, content and influencer). Our goal is to help Walmart navigate this channel, keeping them “one more step ahead” and maintaining the brand at the forefront of the media industry. Same as PubW’s approach, the team is grounded in data and technology to connect with Walmart customers across the full funnel, ensuring media is directly contributing to innovative marketing experiences, driving business and brand growth.

Planner Description/Responsibilities:

The Negotiator/Planner of Content (Influencer) manages the day-to-day execution of influencer campaigns, reporting to Associate Director and supported by an Associate. The role will activate content and digital strategic plan development and all aspects of implementation.

  • Liaison between Strategy and Digital Investment teams for custom content, experiential and social influencer marketing
  • Provide support on the ideation, management, and dissemination of feedback on custom content and campaigns to enforce innovative and social-first initiatives for Walmart
  • Work directly with clients and outside creators/agencies
    • Assist and develop RFPs as well as partner consideration sets
    • Manage RFP issuance and evaluation process
    • Compare and analyze different RFPs from agencies to formulate a comprehensive influencer strategy
  • Review full campaign details and effectiveness
    • Collaborate with Social team to create and coordinate marketing strategies that work across different channels
    • Assist in creating tactical and wrap decks of campaigns and compiling data mid-campaign for appropriate review and optimization
    • Ability to interpret and present data for compelling storytelling and recommendations
  • Partnership Development
    • Support the management of strategic development with partners and day to day
    • Work in tandem with Walmart content team to achieve long-term partner growth goals
    • Conduct outreach to new and existing partners
  • Execution
    • Assist in the development and implementation of campaigns, activations, and initiatives
    • Support influencer and content campaign management, including but not limited to strategic recommendations, contracting, content development management, quality assurance, FTC compliance and governance, performance monitoring, and reporting
  • Legal & Business Affairs
    • Liaise with PubW teams and WMT vendors to draft and manage all SOWs and agreements
    • Support in reviewing custom content for Walmart, checking for overall compliance based on guidelines

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years in media agency, influencer, content, or marketing field
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) plus superior organization skills
  • Has experience with content publishers, influencer agencies or livestream executions
  • Strong client relations skills and ability to strategically think from a client’s perspective
  • Ability to think conceptually and to translate concepts into actionable plans to drive clients’ businesses forward
  • Conceptual and forward-thinking: comfortable in an ambiguous environment and excited about inventing new ways of working
  • Highly collaborative team player capable of working across clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented: able to prioritize and juggle many projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Analytical: capable of using metrics to make sound performance recommendations
  • Self-starter who is able to independently drive projects
  • Eager to brainstorm new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencers
