About the Role
As the Presales Enablement Manager, you are the
key player helping our Sales Engineers hone their craft by developing, managing, and delivering best practice learning programs that build confidence; allow them to ‘pitch better and win more often’. You will continue to build an enablement practice that looks at WalkMe products and soft presales skills (demo to value) development for a global team at scale. You will also work with new Sales Engineers through their onboarding process and work with existing Sales Engineers on additional learning progressions.
And it does not stop there! You will also plan and facilitate global and regional presales meetings. As a result, you need to have a deep level of experience in sales/presales methodologies and processes. Having experience in the principles of adult learning is essential . You will be a resource and coach to a diverse and global presales team. For this role, you need to be a bit of a unicorn. This means you have an innate ability to concept, create, design, build AND you can manage details, deadlines, execution. You will report to SVP, Global Sales Engineering.

What You’ll Own

    • Pre-Sales Onboarding
    • Work with WalkMe Presales leaders to refine and grow onboarding processes, materials, and programs for SE and Presales operational positions
    • Develop additional programs (single and cohort) that improve and extend learning opportunities towards initial demo competencies
    • Facilitate the tracking and progression of SEs as they grow and mature in their craft
    • Ongoing Pre-Sales Enablement & Training
    • Establish an overall schedule and pace for training and enablement efforts, coordinating with Sales Enablement, Product Marketing and other internal constituencies.
    • Support product launches by preparing learning programs that allow Sales Engineers to understand and sell more confidently
    • Work with the Presales Demo Engineering, alliances, partner, and technical teams to create and provide enablement content
    • Concept, design and deliver effective training materials, sessions, and workshops in virtual, live and online capacity
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Enablement to ensure consistency in messaging and program delivery across all audiences
    • Develop additional training/certification programs
    • Work with presales leaders to identify opportunities for personal or team improvement opportunities
    • Pre-Sales Meetings
    • Help prepare agenda for semi-annual (potentially quarterly) presales meetings with presales leadership
    • Increase content development and speaker readiness
    • Work with corporate events team on meeting logistics
    • Content Development, Enablement, and Management
    • Participate in managing existing content repositories and the refresh/update of old content (Confluence)
    • Assist with communication to enable SEs with new messaging and platform and demo releases

What You Need to Succeed

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    • 5+ years of relevant presales/solution consulting/sales engineering experience
    • 3+ years of experience developing and leading educational/enablement programs
    • Familiar with discovery and demonstration tools and methodologies (e.g., Demo2Win)
    • Level of competency with graphic design and video production/editing
    • Knowledge of the SaaS/ERP industry, products, competitors
    • Exceptional skills to represent concepts and complex ideas, in an understandable fashion, with a flair for storytelling, and fluency in “feature, function, value” and “what, how, why”
    • The nature of what we do is to create and deliver, so must be able to work both sides of the brain effectively
    • Proficient at project management and working across the organization so that projects are delivered successfully (marketing, product management, sales enablement)
    • Ability to network and lead collaboration and program excellence among the presales team, sales teams, and other main leaders and stakeholders
    • Creativity: Ability to make learning fun, engaging, and experiential in online, virtual, and live settings and have an eye for good design
    • Leadership skills to motivate others to do and be their best
    • Professional & Credible: People respect you and want to hear what you have to say
    • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with training delivery mediums such as blended learning solutions and online tools such as webcast, video, content management, and LMS (Absorb, Brainshark)
    • SaaS: Strong knowledge of enterprise SaaS sales cycles, sales and presales process processes and methodologies
