Cxmmunity is a nonprofit organization, committed to increasing minority participation in esports through STEAM, operations, and career development. Founded to end barriers to entry and underrepresentation in esports, Cxmmunity provides minorities living in underserved communities with the opportunity to take part within the gaming industry by creating programs to give access to industry leaders, internships, and full-time jobs.

Position Summary

Program Lead is a role that will work with our major programs related to competitive esports, education, and student advancement. This position is responsible for qualifying and quantifying the success of our offerings in addition to building the next iterations of our strategy for programs offered from Cxmmunity. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will work in tandem with our event leads, partnership managers, and education team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure programs within Cxmmunity have all quantitative and qualitative data measured, assessed, and reported to leadership at Cxmmunity.
  • Utilize program data to recommend changes to Gaming Cxmmunity’s programs.
  • Communicate to Chief Operating Officer on all program activity including successes, challenges obstacles, and proposed changes
  • Develop & deploy onboarding program for any facilitators, program leads, or other staff that work within the domain of programs overseen and operated on by the Contractor.
  • Own the pipeline development process for students that can access our career opportunities.
  • Provide additional strategy auditing and go forward recommendations to the Cxmmunity team and / or team members regarding additional verticals the company operates in, regardless of if they are overseen by the Contractor directly.
  • Audit & assess the current collegiate esports initiatives and programs at the HBCUs and other supported colleges in the Cxmmunity network & then propose updated strategy, timelines, and deliverables for scaling the programs.
  • Own the strategy related to developing students and future employable talent from the Cxmmunity networks to developers and other tier 1 internships or full-time opportunities.
  • Build or provide input to our instructional designers so they can build curriculum and other educational materials needed to deliver and iterate on our programs

Position Requirements

  • Be in or willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA, or a neighboring area
  • Multiple years’ experience working with students in colleges or high schools
  • Communicate effectively with leadership & other internal team members on what you need to best drive success in this role & yield results
  • Be on-time with expectations for deliverables on projects & work autonomously
  • Understand how to create & maintain relationships with various levels of organizations
  • Able to lead weekly & monthly meeting(s) to share updates across area of operation
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
