Premion is seeking a Project Manager in New York, NY to support Premion’s Over the Top (OTT) business division. The ideal candidate will work closely with the PREMION teams based out of NYC and will report to the Director of Program Management.

The Project Manager is responsible for capturing all business operation and sales solution-oriented projects that are taking place on multiple in-house teams, leveraging his or her skills to prioritize the project life cycle based upon the company’s strategic business objectives. They will play a lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects. They are accountable for the entire project scope, the project team and resources, the project budget, and the success or failure of the project. This eager individual will work closely with every facet of the organization from Sales to Marketing and Ad Operations, ensuring deliverables are met on time. Providing high-level and detailed roadmaps, while bridging team by team communication will be key to this role.

  • Oversees and directs the work of Ad Tech Support Specialist and Business Analyst.
  • Daily Interactions with senior management to keep abreast of project objectives.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet technical or strategic goals.
  • Collaborates with the project team to identify the approach, deliverables, schedule and tools to deliver the project within established constraints.
  • Defines, manages and controls project scope and the change control process to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule and within budget. May also oversee other project management team members who are responsible for monitoring project scope.
  • Responsible for the accurate financial management of projects to which they’re assigned.
  • Work with Project Director, Solution Architect, and Business Lead to obtain and document client signoff at key points during project.
  • Develops, maintains, reviews and/or disseminates all project documentation including status reports, invoices, change orders, project schedules, budgets, and post mortem reviews Ensures that all project documentation is produced in the standard format, follows internal documentation processes and is reviewed and approved. May also oversee project management team members who are responsible for developing and maintaining project documentation and/or subprojects
  • Responsible for raising and maintaining awareness of all project issues and risks. Senior Project Managers are responsible for identifying and driving solutions agreed upon by the appropriate members of the project team
  • Acts as a business point-of-contact for all day-to-day project related issues.

Job Requirements:


  • 10+ years’ experience managing an agile design driven, user-centered project and development team in Media/Broadcast/Digital industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college or technical related discipline required. 7+ years of practical work experience as a Business Analyst in media advertising can be substituted for college education. Must show a portfolio of work/achievements.
  • Strong media industry knowledge; especially in planning and operations roles as well as media industry terminology – digital and some linear.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively across functions, with an exposure to complex organizations and the ability to gain shared vision on product decisions and priority trade-offs.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues, both written and verbal, simply to help drive fast decisions.
  • Patience and commitment, with willingness to navigate environments though product knowledge and leadership style.
  • Experience researching industry trends and applying to product strategy & roadmap
  • Utilizing customer driven design and development and lean startup methodologies, have a fail fast mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/workstreams at once.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Quick, adaptive learner who will develop expertise in an evolving media landscape.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Worked with or for a digital agency, publisher, or AdTech technology company.
  • Experience with digital/OTT systems (, FreeWheel, Salesforce, dashboards, etc.)
  • Prior experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Zypher Scale)
  • Know-how to build UAT Scripts and conduct UAT live sessions.
  • Experience working with Ad Operations, Development, Marketing, Finance and Sales teams.
