The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), a membership organization dedicated to the advancement of women’s health care in Washington, DC, is currently seeking a
Resource Data Specialist
. The Resource Data Specialist for the Health Economics & Practice Management team will manage the administration of the educational and member resources for the team, utilizing data resources to determine member educational needs and requests.

  • Manage the submission, implementation and dissemination of educational resources for the team and coordinate the educational offerings with members of the team, including determination of the appropriate platform/media, submission of appropriate continuing education applications, budget management, and marketing of the products.
  • Research and develop reports, including objective and subjective data analysis, related to the offered educational resources and potential opportunities, including development and analysis of member surveys, analysis of member questions and requests, and recommendations for educational topics and events based on the analysis.
  • Represent team in internal meetings to coordinate and promote educational offerings and events, including the development of strategy, goals, and timelines.
  • Manage the platforms and services required for health economics education, including contracts, payment, registration and technical support.
  • Manage regular updates and revisions of all educational resources on health policy websites and portals.
  • Respond to member and client questions related to educational resources and triage as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Typically requires 4 years of related administrative assistant experience. Experience with medical coding and/or billing, legal and/or governmental policy documents and terminology preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both cooperatively as well as independently; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
