About This Role:
Join the research quality and operations team at Forrester Research to build out new research planning and productivity tools for research leaders, analysts, and associates.
Reporting to the vice president of research quality and operations, the Technical Operations Specialist will create and support the technical platforms needed to coordinate and scale Forrester’s research operations.

Job Description:
  • Build out the research planning, collaboration, and project management platform and work with research leaders and our tech management team to execute on that vision.
  • Lead projects, as required, to:
    • Implement cloud-based research planning and collaboration tools across research using Airtable, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Teams.
    • Identify gaps in our existing research and client engagement processes that could be improved with technology solutions.
    • Partner with our research analytics manager and tech management team to define and implement key research metrics dashboards and reporting to give analysts and research leaders the most important metrics and actions to help them prioritize their daily activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date email distribution lists, SharePoint and Teams collaboration groups, and online technical help documents.
  • Improve reporting efficiency and accuracy through automation and optimization of reporting processes and data sources.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three-plus years of experience in an application business analyst or consultant/implementation role, preferably in an IP, media, or content-heavy industry like publishing, research, or education.
  • Strong project management skills and a track record of working with multiple stakeholders outside of your team to drive a process forward.
  • Experience in implementing project management tools like Airtable, Asana, and Workfront, as well as core content management systems like Contentful.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong client service orientation, including the ability to identify and deliver technology-driven capabilities to support the needs of our research team and internal partners.
