In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.

  • Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.

Note:

Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.

Job Description:

We Are:

We are currently looking for a
Senior Technology Architect to Join our Digital Informatics and Technology Solutions team. In this role the Technology Architect will help build customizable specific system solutions that enhance our Research and SKI capabilities.

You Will:

  • Design, propose, and deliver solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies.
  • Facilitate the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise.
  • Review and advise on standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
  • Develop and document the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
  • Approve and modify designs and architectures to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the development of and manages an architecture governance process.
  • Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate.

You Need:

  • Solid understanding of IT and Healthcare IT technologies
  • Experience creating solutions in a Linux and HPC environment
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum product development and project management
  • Proficient software development skills, and an understanding of programming constructs (C#, Java, Python, Node JS)
  • Knowledgable in shell scripting
