The Picture House Regional Film Center is a 501(C)3 mission-driven nonprofit organization with a focus on film, education, and community. Founded in 2003, the organization has two locations – The Picture House Pelham and The Picture House Bronxville, both in Westchester County, NY. In addition to these two 1920s era theaters, TPH has offices in Pelham. Picture House audiences come from Westchester County, the Bronx, Southern Connecticut, and beyond. Theater Floor Staff are responsible for the smooth operation of the day-to-day business at the theater. This position reports directly to the Operations and Theater Manager.


  • Greet customers as they arrive; helping them with their tickets and directing them to their theater accordingly
  • Handle ticket, merchandise, and concessions transactions
  • Maintain and being responsible for the cash drawer
  • Open and close concession stand
  • Keep Concessions/Box Office clean, neat, and organized
  • Test listening and Closed Captioning equipment
  • Vacuum/sweep main lobby and sidewalk
  • Answer phone; handle messages and customers concerns
  • Stock and restock concessions and rest rooms
  • Continuous quality/cleanliness checks of facilities
  • Cleaning of theater after ach screening


  • Staff will be trained on

the POS system (ticketing and concessions terminals) experience necessary); maintaining and being responsible for the cash drawer
on how to make popcorn
how to set up soda, candy and hot food items for the day


The theaters are located in Pelham (175 Wolfs Lane) and Bronxville (84 Kraft Avenue), NY. Each is easily accessible by car, bus, and train (Metro North). Shifts are available 7 days a week and on holidays.
