Job Summary

The Teaching and Learning Lab at the Harvard Graduate School of Education is excited to offer the opportunity for several recent Master’s students to join cross-functional teams charged with creating high-quality online courses. The work involved will be fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on both faculty and student support. Successful candidates will be able to learn new processes and technologies quickly and be interested in a career in learning design or educational technology.

Position Description

Duties (individual Fellows may focus on one or more sets of tasks):

  • Develop training materials for Teaching Fellows and student success coaches.
  • Assist with design and development projects.
  • Contribute to course build.
  • Research innovative practices in student engagement.
  • Assist with reimagining assets for external delivery.
  • Assist with data gathering and multi-modal analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

This is a 12 month term position with possibility of renewal.

Basic Qualifications

Advanced coursework or professional experience in education technology and/or learning design

Recent HGSE Ed.M. graduate (2021/2022)

Experience working in Google and Microsoft Office productivity environments

Additional Qualifications and Skills

Comfort with HTML

Comfortable with working in a fast-paced, remote environment

Experience working within a LMS (Canvas preferred)

Teaching experience (online preferred)

Quantitative analysis skills

Able to work independently and take direction
