The White Glove Specialist maintains Accufrate and Command Center by making sure all shipments are dispatched and ensure all pickups from the previous day were picked up and finalized. This role also answers any questions and/or handle issues for shipments in distress.


  • Dispatch all shipments booked in the system on the specific day pickup is needed
  • Assist customer with questions or any issues regarding the status of WG shipments
  • Call the carriers to confirm load information to finalize the shipment in Command Center
  • Work directly with White Glove agent coordinators to assist with status of delivery or any issues
  • Advise customers via email on authorization for accessorial or additional services required by the LTL carrier or White Glove agent
  • Be available for any questions that the customer may have during normal business hours
  • Answer calls as they come in and either assist or properly direct the person to the correct department
  • Collect proofs of delivery (PODs) for specific customer invoices if needed
  • Assist with customer invoicing disputes either for LTL carrier or white glove agent
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office platform required
  • 2-5 years of experience in logistics or transportation industry and/or customer service background


  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Combination of education and years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a deadline driven/fast paced environment preferred
  • Ability to multi-task
  • The ability to use a phone, computer, printer, and copier
  • The ability to use the internet and various web browser software


This position operates in a professional office environment requiring prolonged periods in a stationary position working at a desk. Must be able to remain stationary 90% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as headsets, phones, printers, and photocopiers. The person in this position frequently communicates with coworkers who have inquiries about customer and carrier transactions. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations as observed in web portals and software programs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Work Environment: Job is typically performed in a general office environment.
